I am building a house and my building company doesn't want to install clay bricks because they recently have bad experience with clay bricks.  They suggest to use concrete bricks.

This is the picture they sent me :

1. I am just wondering if Clay Bricks can get efflorescence just a couple of days after they are laid ?

2. Is this kind of Efflorescence happens because the bricks quality is bad?  or because the Bricklayer doesn't do the job correctly ?

3. Which one is stronger and more durable , clay or concrete bricks?
