Aims and Objectives of Civil Engineering are:

  1. To provide better facilities of life to the communities e.g Better water supply system, Sewerage system, traffic system etc.
  2. To layout the physical features of the earth by Surveying and Levelling.
  3. To provide safer designs of Canals, Dams, Barrages etc
  4. To provide better network of roads and Highways, to ensure comfortable traffic system 
  5. To ensure safe construction of buildings and other structures 
  6. To ensure safety of constructed structures, their repair and maintenance
  7. To achieve more aesthetics and architecturally beautiful structures
