Draw perpendicular lines on the wall (which you want to have opening) and using the trim command (tr + press Enter 2 Times) and click on the wall in between the perpendicular lines.

 

The lines will be removed and opening will have been formed.

 

You can then remove the perpendicular line that you drew by selecting them and pressing delete button.
